I am a vegetarian, and Michel made me an absolutely delicious truffle risotto - the best I've ever had. They also offer a Michelin-star-worthy three-course dinner every night for guests, which cost 30 euros per person. But friendly Nicolas speaks good English, and he always made us feel welcome. It was very pleasant, although a little awkward for us, as we speak so little French. We were so full after breakfast that we didn't need to eat again until dinner! There are only five or six rooms here, and all the guests sit at a large communal table in a very cozy dining room, with a fireplace at one end. They include huge fresh croissants, fresh whole grain breads, wonderful cheese and meats, a huge assortment of French jams, lovely individual glass bowls of yogurt along with a glass of fresh fruit (huge strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwi, etc.), coffee, tea, and eggs made to order. The breakfasts, which are included, were better than we expected. Our bed was soooooo comfortable, and, since this hotel is set a bit off the road, and in the countryside, we never heard a thing. Best of all, you'll have a great night's sleep. His expert eye is evident everywhere - from the comfortable, beautifully furnished rooms to the pleasing gardens. They came from Paris, where Michel ran a home decor shop. The owners, Nicolas and Michel, bought this centuries-old place a year ago. The buildings, the decor, the gardens - it will all take your breath away. My husband and I recently spent five nights at the beautiful Le Noyer Residence - and loved it! Every square inch of this place is drop-dead gorgeous. I Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back as soon as I can when I need a break from my busy London life.… Nicolas will kindly prepare some eggs fresh for you should you require and on top of that they prepare their own fresh orange juice and yoghurt. If you don’t fancy sugar in the morning they also have a nice tray of cheese and charcuterie that you can enjoy. The breakfast was fantastic! There was a large selection of handmade jam from the region that you can enjoy with freshly baked croissant. Whilst you are waiting for your dinner, Nicolas can prepare some delicious cocktails for you. ![]() He always tries to incorporate and use the Perigore gastronomy. ![]() Michel is a wonderful chef and knows his food well, he suggested an amazing 3 course menu as a host table. They made us feel really comfortable and welcomed without being intrusive. Michel, Nicolas and their splendid white peacock are fantastic hosts. ![]() You can enjoy some nice and quiet time at the pool house where the pool is maintained at the perfect temperature. The place is clean and tastefully decorated. I personally stayed in the Josephine Baker room, which was beautifully decorated just as her name would suggest. If you ever need to to take time out of your busy and stressful life Le Noyer residence is the place to be! My family and I stayed at Le Noyer residence for 5 days and we enjoyed every second of it.
